About Jacqueline Lloyd
Jacqui joined the faculty of Laidlaw College in 1999 as Field Education Coordinator. Prior to this Jacqui taught in State and Christian Primary Schools in New Zealand and England, worked for the Auckland Primary Schools Inspectorate as a liaison-support teacher, mentored trainee teachers, designed curriculum, and taught music. During a subsequent four year overseas experience (OE) Jacqui spent 18 months working with YWAM, and a further 8 months church planting in south-east London. Jacqui completed a Bachelor of Ministries in 1998 (Bible College of New Zealand), followed by a Master of Theological Studies with Distinction (Laidlaw College), and an MA in Ancient History (Macquarie University) for which she received the award of vice-chancellor’s commendation for academic excellence. Jacqui gained her current position as Senior Lecturer in Biblical Studies in the School of Theology, Mission and Ministry in 2008. Her current area of research for PhD is Jesus’ itinerant ministry in Galilee.
