Lex McMillan

Lex spent ten years working in a farming business and during this time began his counsellor training at Otago University. Subsequent studies with CWR in England in the early 1990s formalised a passionate interest in integration between Christian theology and therapy. Sixteen subsequent years experience as a therapist has involved Lex counselling in London, leading a social-work practice, counselling students at Massey University where he also trained as a mediator, and completing a Master of Counselling (first class honours) from Waikato University. Lex began his own counselling practice in 1997 specialising in relationship counselling and was co-ordinator of the Diploma of Counselling programme at the Palmerston North Campus from 2000–2008. Lex is currently undertaking doctoral studies through Queensland University.
